Editor's Message Dear Participants of NTST08, On behalf of Çankaya University and the Organizing committee, as the Chairman of this Workshop, I would like to express our thanks to all participiants for their valuable contributions to this workshop. It was a great pleasure for us to host all of you at our University and in our city Ankara during the "International Workshop on New Trends in Science and Technology". I would like to extend my appreciation and thanks to our local organizing committee members and our University staff. They worked very hard to make this event possible. I also would like to extend our Special Thanks to the President of the Board of Trustee, Mr. Sıtkı Alp, for his generous support. In this workshop we had 18 in their fields well known invited scientists from 9 different countries. The total number of participants was 145 from 25 different countries around the world. The purpose of the workshop was to bring together scientists whose common interests are the nanoscience, nonlinear science and complexity, the symmetries, supersymmetries and integrability, for the hope that this scientific event will form a good playground to create a broad range of scientific collaborations among the participants.
